Episode: Thoughtful Aunt and 1 More Sleep!

Some people are born with the thoughtful gene. For absolutely no reason at all (which is the most fun way I think) our lovely aunt Vicki and cool uncle Johnboy sent a care package to Tierney, Gab and Roo containing a wicked beach hooded towel and facecloth with awesome colours and little characters. Our trio of terror will be the most stylin'in Sauble this year while they strut their stuff ! The kids had so much fun opening the surprise package. Thanks so much for the Markdale Watsons for their thoughtfulness! Can't wait to see you this week and hope that you will be staying for dinner - or at least for a while longer than you could last year!

Episode: Glum Gus Gone

I am a bit glum that old Gussy is gone back home with Gram. He is a cute little thing and funny because he followed me around. When I was moving too fast for him, he found the kids and followed them from room to room. He's sweet and the kids (and maybe even Kelsey) enjoyed having him around.

Episode: Always be prepared !

When packing for your evening outing, whether it be a baseball game, campfire and walk in the park, ALWAYS BRING YOUR SWEATER. Sweaters are frequently needed, even though it was warm in the day. Children under the age of 7 ALWAYS need to have their sweaters so their nanny will not have to fashion sweater replacements out of adult sweatshirts, blankets or tea towels. This is the Gospel according to Nanny...heed my advise, grasshoppers !

Episode: Erin & Kevin's Wedding

My favorite part of Kevin & Erin's wedding was seeing all the family and friends getting together and all having a fantastic time. I took some amazing pictures of my very good looking family who make me so proud everywhere I go... also I would have to say it was an absolute pleasure partying with the folks from Dunnville who are so much fun too ! The Barrie clan are a lot of fun and that fun continued until after the fireworks on Canada Day when we said goodbye and headed home. A very special moment was this reconnection of our beloved "Triplets" who are such a joy and so always so entertaining. Lots of love to Erin & Kevin ! Good luck and happy landings to Jerry - we can't wait till we have you back on our soil !

Episode: The Birthday that Never Was!

Happy B-day to one wicked cool brother in law Cameron... If anyone ever does deserve a fun birthday party it's you Cam - somehow, someway, we will have cake this weekend coming up if it kills us all!

Thanks for always drinking beer with Dave and for teaching me (Kim) a little about laid back-ness. I think someday it might just eventually wear off a bit on me... I hope it does!

The kids thank you for ALWAYS swinging them around, whenever they ask you, and for (accidentally - wink wink) giving them both their first taste of beer!!!

Episode: Hitched - Ernie and Kev Tie the Knot

What was your favourite part of Erin and Kevin's wedding?

Dave sez: The conga line. Dave feels that he was instrumental in the success of this particular dance number. Dave was feelin' very hot hot hot. Dave was also a HUGE fan of Uncle Pete and if that guy goes on the road with his routine, Dave will likely be the first one in line to buy tickets.

Kim sez: I really enjoyed the video montage with Ern and Kev's baby pics. But the dancing all night long just couldn't be beat. Who has a wedding with pina coladas anyway? That rocked the house!

Gabby sez: Going up and down in the elevator, playing in the kids room and dancing with everybody.

Rui sez: Watching movies with the ladies upstairs and all the other kids. Chicken fingers for dinner (he actually ate them all!) and running up and down the aisle after the ceremony with Gab, Allie and Mary.

Thursday June 14th was Megan's Convocation Day at Conestoga College. She Graduated with Distinction from the Advertising Program. Dressed in the traditional Graduation gown and Lirapipe Megan received her diploma (suitable for framing). After the cermony Dad Mom & Uni attended a reception at the college. After some photo ops we drove to Vidalias in St. Jacobs for some celebratory inbibations. Next we went to Benjamins Inn where Megan was shocked to see her sisters, brothers in law, nieces and nephew were gathered to surprise her. Megan received some bling and scrappin' accessories to honour her accomplishments. After a delicious feast we retired to the nearby ice cream caboose for some dessert. Episode: Doggy Day and Birthday

We got an early start on Sunday June 10th to go to Woofstock in Toronto, St. Lawrence Market area. Our trip was smooth and along the way Gram noticed all the cool improvements on the Toronto Waterfront. We parked and walked into the Festival. Bogey visited his peeps, Sandy at CYTR and Brenda his former foster mom at Tiny Paws Rescue where we met Brigitte a doggie that just got rescued after a terrible accident in which she lost a leg but now has a great new forever home in Toronto. We had our breakie, coffee and muffin at a sidewalk table and enjoyed watching all the dogs and owners walking by. There were tons on exhibitors and displays which we saw and Bogey and Dona got personalized bandanas. All the girls got croc charms of their dogs. We came home and celebrated Laura's birthday with the whole family and ended off with an evening walk to the park. Laura got lots of cool presents and a cake was enjoyed by all. The boys enjoyed the new pepper relish Kathy found at Zehrs. Gram left this morning to go back to Stroud to get ready for our visit and the wedding at Canada Day ! What a great weekend.

EPISODE: WHS BUS TOUR

Saturday June 9th was a beautiful day for the annual Bus trip with the Hort Society. We met bright and early with our TH's in hand and headed out over hill and dale to visit five rural gardens of Bruce County with a stop for a delicious lunch in Hanover. We perused all the beautiful plants on display in the gardens as well as those for sale in the garden centres. We purchased a few new additions to our gardens which you will all get the chance to admire in the near future. Also on the tour was my coworker Mary and her mom who we got a chance to know and enjoyed their company. We got home at 7 and had some dinner and an early night. We had to get rested up for the next day !
