Episode: Triplets 2008
Here's the latest triplet picture...2008 at Doug & Ann's wedding. We hope Jerry soon moves back to Canada so we don't have to wait so long between pictures !
Episode: Introducing: Doug & Ann Watson
Friday November 14th,2008 we gathered at Barrie Country Club to witness the nuptials of Ann & Doug. It was a beautiful wedding and kudos to Ann and her friend Ann who made most of the arrangements. Ann's family and Jerry's family made the trip over from England and Ann's brother Colin photographed the wedding. Can't wait to see the pictures, they should be fabulous ! The bride and groom were attended by Ann and Adam and after the candlelight ceremony Jerry toasted the happy couple. It was a great evening !

I'm thankful for........
Thanksgiving weekend is one of (if not the) most favorite time
of the year for me I love all the activities we do as a family. I know
of the year for me I love all the activities we do as a family. I know
the kids do as well, Tierney loves going to pumkim patches and farms. She loves hanging out with her cousins and Mom and Dad. This year we went to Shantholm and Kimglo Farms and the Oktoberfest parade and had our first family Thanksgiving at our new house. We hope everybody had a great time. There are some great video shots of the kids getting scared out their minds on the wagon ride at Kimglo, if I can figure out how to upload them then you can all enjoy in the meantime......check out some of my very favorite photos from this season!!! Gobble Gobble
My "Martha" Style centrepiece made from genuine gourds hand-picked by Tierney at Shantholm farms, these are authentic gourds I can't stress their aunthenticity enough.
Dave and Gabby enjoying a beautiful meal prepared by my talented and handsome husband. Notice the authentic foil crown!
Here are the children at the parade, ......total goofballs, authentic, genuine goofballs!!
Tierney taking in the slendor that is Oktoberfest!!!!!!
Kim!!! The parade is the other way! Turn around ....Turn around!!

Episode: Gearing up again - PMSers hit the sand...
It is sneaking up on us again - only a few more sleeps (okay like 24 but whatever) til we are on the beach again at Sauble... I already can't wait. I am researching new campfire games - we added some new folks to our family gathering with John and Vicki and possibly Curtis - we are already making lists and checking them twice (it's not Christmas but might as well be for the excitement level. Because Laura, Cam and Toop are staying with Marts - I bet we will see a lot more of Rose and Chuck this year - and that's FAB too!
Dave wants a snooze on the beach.
Gabby wants to throw mudballs again.
I can't wait to hit the Patch.
Mom wants Scoopers and watch the sunset.
I have to ask the others about their favourite wish and add it on...
It's almost here...
I'll bring the PB and J
You bring the marshmallows and spider dog fixin's
Oh yeah!!!!

Episode: One Month, One Week and One Day
Until the PMSers hit Sauble Beach! That's sic!
Can't wait for some fun in the sun, sand in our bathing suits and too little sunscreen along with too many coolers...
This year should shape up to be a new experience with new peeps joining the Sauble crew... John, Vicki and maybe Curtis, Doug and Anne (?? are they coming ??)!!
I hope the weather is great - as always. Could we be so lucky again? I sure hope so... We all deserve it!
What are you looking most forward to this year? Is it the Patch? Ice cream? Swimming?
I am looking forward to my annual trip to Hepworth - and sitting on the beach and swimming every single day without fail! Night swimming has become sort of a fun adventure - and Nancy's bakery - yummo!
I love this week with the family - it is my favourite week of the year in every way!
Hope Me-Me and Andy can make it up there for a day or two - or even longer...

Episode Try and Try Again
I am really proud of Gabby. Last week she auditioned to be in the school talent show and even though her poetry reading was not selected - I am really proud that she tried her best. Gabby even wrote her own poem.
Here is a copy of her beautiful poetry for your reading pleasure...
Every day I check the mail
I check the mail which is brought by Dale
Dale brings the mail but he's as slow as a snail
A snail's tail is probably faster than Dale.
My gramma sent me cookies once in the mail
But Dale was so slow the cookies were stale
Stale as a hockey puck, harder than a nail
My cookies wound up in the garbage pail
AHH MAAN!
What a great job she did. She is a very enthusiastic presenter.

Episode: Environmental Warrior
This is Rui Silva making a difference by planting trees as part of the Earth Day project at Onondaga Farm. Rui planted six trees and also helped the farm manager, John Hill reposition the flags which will outline the new tree locations so they won't get accidentally mowed down. He also help to clean up the site after the planting by picking up the tree pots that were used. After the planting, Rui participated in the spiritual sharing circle with a class of Grade 8's who were planting with us. It was a great day !!

Episode: Tea Party @ Nanny & Poppy's
As an update to the previous post, we are glad to report that as of Saturday John was feeling a lot better. We hope that is continuing and he will be back to his usual sassy self again.
Today we had Miss Tierney Z. I. Mart for tea. We discussed our plans for the holiday season and our spring wardrobes. We enjoyed a promenade around the neighbourhood while Miss Mart picked up an assortment of sticks. We enjoyed a lovely cup of tea on our return and we are very pleased to say that dunking was enjoyed by all. Cheers, everyone ! Have a good week.

Episode: My Superhero
We have to go to the Department of Changing your name Legally next week to get Rui officially renamed as Spiderman. What were we thinking anyway calling him Rui. It really was inevitable. Lenni lent him her Spidey suit on Friday when we went to visit her and all the kids. I had to pry it off him this morning (today is Sunday) so I could get it washed because she might come and pick it up today.
Gabby, luckily was appropriately named because she has spent the whole weekend indoors (with this snow!) playing Wii - especially the High School Musical singalong game.
Dave even treated us to 2 performances and Rui also sang a song and got a B!

Episode: First Fine Family Festival
So the first family day came and went.
It was so snowy and blustery that there was not as much travelling around out on the roads but we still managed to get together with mom and dad and Megan and her friends Shelley, Mike and Andy for a funny dinner.
I had a scrapbooking filled weekend in between "spring" cleaning around the homestead...
Here is one LO that shows the lights of our lives - Tierney, Gabby and Rui (in no particular order 'cause that would be wrong of course! Who could pick just one?!)
This was from Toops birthday extravaganza at the Waterloo Childrens Museum which was back in January - the kids were all dancing to Crazy Frog tunes waiting for the other kids to arrive - it was so cute that it just had to be appropriately Memorexed. Well, Canon'ed I guess in this case.
Allie and Mary are coming to see us this weekend and we are pumped about it - and Gram will be here as well! Can't wait!
We booked our Sauble cottage - but are just waiting for confirmation on that one. Laura and Cam are still not sure that they can come with us - but we are still hoping!
Peace!

Episode: Happy Valentines Day Everyone
Just thought I'd share my funny Valentine with your all...this arrived in my office email today:
Kathleen’s VALINTINE 2008
I love fish and Chips and all things greasy
Oysters, shrimp, lobster, are all so pleasey
Seafoods the best that is for sure
With garlic butter and spices the food can cure
Alas we have “left overs” chicken cordon blue
Unless we mix and match poultry with oceans allure
I have purchased lobster & seafood bisque
With wine and brandy blended in the mix
Renting a movie could be the cat’s meow
On this Valentine Anniversary, see there now
We could dinner and dine
On this Valentine
There are movies and games and a WII to play
No lack of fun and activities so in we can stay
Out of the Cold and crowds we relax
Food and libation and a twist of exlax
Tomorrow we wake, refreshed behooved
With Love in our hearts and bowls that moved
To start a new day, for sure will be fine
Preparing with passion for next Valentine
(copywrite by Robogr81)

Episode: Harry Potter meets Scrappin' Kathy
Back in the day, Megan decided to decorate her bedroom a la Harry Potter. The idea was to use Hogwarts colours and put Harry Potter books etc on display. The room was painted accordingly (including a maroon ceiling !!) and voila the "The Harry Potter Room" as it is known was created. Fast forward a few years...Megan now lives in her newly (for the second time) designed room in the basement. The "HPR" was relegated to a spare room, storage room, video games room. One of the items in storage there was all the scrapbooking stuff being acquired by Kathy...After a long day of purging (3 garbage bags later... the new Scrappin' Kathy Room is unveiled. What a relief..I can now crop till my hearts content and actually find all the stuff I have. Feast your eyes
